How much is an evaluation?
The fee for a standard new patient evaluation is $500*, **, due at the time of service.
*Reduced evaluation and treatment fees are employed when additional family members require services.
**Very complex evaluations, especially those requiring extensive review of prior Dx/Rx records, may require additional professional time and fees.
Do you take my insurance?
No. The A.D.D. Clinic, Inc., is not contracted with ANY insurance company, including Medicaid and Medicare.
How long does the evaluation take and what does it consist of?
The evaluation process takes about 2 - 2 1/2 hours and consists of at least one hour and twenty minutes face to face with the Dr. and a TOVA continuous performance test.
30-40 minutes: Initial patient / family meeting with Dr. Clark
30-45 minutes: Computer based performance testing and completion of additional assigned evaluation materials.
60 minutes: (Sometimes more) patient / family meeting with Dr. Clark to review overall evaluation results and initiate a treatment plan.
Recommended reading material and follow-up arrangments are made with Clinic staff after completion of the initial session.
How long does it take to get an appointment?
Approximately 1 week
Do you prescribe medication?
Yes. If medication is warranted then you will be given a prescription and/or samples.
Do you treat conditions other than ADHD?
Yes. We Specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of ADHD, BiPolar Disorder, Depression, Anxiety, Asperger's, OCD and Tourette's Syndrome.
How long has Dr. Clark been practicing?
Dr. Clark has been specializing in child, adolescent and adult psychiatry for over 40 years.
